Favorite Picture: I love these pictures from last weekend at the Cool Globes art installation in Battery Park. Each one was so unique, and so beautiful. I regret that I didn’t take more pictures of them. They definitely inspired some great conversations on global warming.
Favorite Book: James recently read Bridge To Terabithia in school and I must say that he did not show the same appreciation for it that I did. We usually agree on books, but while I loved this one, he did not. Maybe it’s more of a girl favorite? Either way, I’m still recommending it because I think it’s great.
Favorite Craft: It’s hard for me to get into crafts. Mostly because they usually turn out terrible. And when that happens I get annoyed with the directions, the sparkles, my fat fingers, and life in general. If you ever find me crying with piles of scissors surrounding me, please know I am not trying to hurt myself, I’ve probably just failed at another craft. I tried making a flower wreath earlier this week and am surprised to say that it actually turned out great (for me anyway)! It was SUPER easy (perfect to make with kids), and I would highly recommend giving it a go. Here is the link if you are interested.
Favorite Recipe: I have been trying to cook more the passed few weeks (Rob is usually on dinner detail), and am thinking about trying this Asparagus Garlic Soup from Goodie Godmother. Asparagus is one of my favorites, and it looks so delicious! Thought I’d share in case we have any other asparagus lovers in the house.
